Our Story

Hi there! We are the Boyce family: Derek, Guinn, Derek Jr. & Blake (coming soon).

Derek and I are high school sweethearts and one of our favorite traditions is to collect Christmas ornaments that have meaning. Whether they are from a vacation we want to memorialize or if there's a symbolic ornament that means something to our family we are always looking out for beautiful creations.

Derek and I grew up in Knoxville and after graduating from Wofford College we moved back home and lived on Gay St. in Downtown Knoxville for seven years.

How we Raised Funds to Support the Sunsphere

Living downtown we would see the Sunsphere every day as we drove to and from our office in West Knoxville. As avid ornament collectors, we never understood why there wasn't a beautiful blown glass ornament of our beloved Sunsphere.

In 2019 we designed and launched the first ever blown glass Sunsphere Christmas ornament for the purpose of raising funds for the Sunsphere Fund - a fund we established with the City of Knoxville to raise funds to be used for the maintenance of the Sunsphere.

The sales of our first Sunsphere ornament raised over $5,000 to be used towards the Sunsphere Fund!

New designs for 2022

It was always our intention to release new Knoxville-inspired Christmas ornaments every year, but these have been some challenging and action-packed past couple of years.

A global pandemic, supply chain meltdowns, hyperinflation. Not to mention we had our first child and now a second one is on the way!

But 2022 is here and we have two new absolutely stunning designs available now.
